I’m reminded of this Oprah quote on the backend of not feeling very grateful. Sometimes it’s the hard moments that bring clarity to what’s important.
Going through the pain is way less fun than just remembering it in the first place! But, as John likes to say “we aren’t slow learners, but can be quick forgetters.”
So, today I’m choosing to focus on gratitude – physically writing down some things I’m grateful for. And remembering that it’s a new day!
