Studies are showing more and more that our mindsets have a drastic correlation to our outcomes over time. There are, of course, outliers and it will rain down from time to time on anyone. That said, at Love the Process we are focused on applying effort to what we call AOC’s (areas of control) that help give us better outcomes in the grand scheme of things. The practice of positive thinking is an AOC that I highly recommend building daily systems and habits around to combat negative thinking and speaking. This will be a consistent process of refinement to operate in a way that works to optimize positive thinking and refrain from negative thinking.
James Clear in Atomic Habits writes, “The purpose of setting goals is to win the game. The purpose of building systems is to continue playing the game. True long-term thinking is goal-less thinking. It’s not about any single accomplishment. It’s about the cycle of endless refinement and continuous improvement. Ultimately, it is your commitment to the process that will determine your progress.”
The daily attending to the process of maintaining a positive mental attitude (PMA) is vital to success in all things measurable. Yes, there will need to be actions taken as well but your PMA will have a far greater impact on results than many people understand.
At LTP, one of the things we specialize in is helping individuals and organizations level up their PMA over time to deliver measurable increases in areas that matter most.
If there is any way we can be of service to you, your family, or your business do not hesitate to reach out because at Love the Process, Your Mission is Our Mission.
Let’s Go!
