When we say WIN around LTP, we are referring to a one person game—you versus you. The idea is to compete against yourself yesterday. To attempt to improve ever so slightly each day, each week, each month and each year with a vision in mind of looking back one day at a life well spent.
The passing of time is a constant, but how we chose to spend it is within our control. So as we look at how we spend the next 168 hours between this WINsday and next WINsday, ask yourself 3 important questions each day:
1. Am I aware of the unique talents that I possess and how important it is that I use them in the world?
2. Am I cultivating my talent by looking to continuously learn something new and continue developing the skills around my gift and talents?
3. Am I operating with integrity and character that demonstrates a belief and a courage that allows me to show up each day and get back in the ring of life?
Accountability to ourselves first is key, and as we talked about last week—we must first start with our heart, our mind, and our actions. Over the long haul, people will follow what we do far more than what we say.
I wish us all the very best as we operate over the coming 1440 minutes and as we continue to Love the Process. Whose process? … YOUR process!
LETS GO!
John
