If you have ever tried to accomplish something big in your life, you have likely been met with resistance. Sometimes massive resistance. The reasons for this resistance are less important than the acceptance that it will come—often when you least expect it—and the awareness and courage to persist in spite of it.
My friend Ky likes to say, “only those with no brains don’t get a head ache.” He is saying, basically, that everything worth doing will come at an expense. Therefore, my encouragement is continue to show up, continue to take action, and continue to fail and learn and grow.
I like to say, “it’s supposed to be hard.” So what’s hard today, will be easy tomorrow—if we persist. Take heart, stay in the game, and give it a go!
Wishing you massive success,
John
