This past week on the Love the Process Podcast we had my friend Bennie Fowler on the show – the episode will air next week.  Bennie has an amazing ability to dissect what it takes to be successful – personally and as a team.  He played in the NFL and caught passes from the following QBs: Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Eli Manning & Tom Brady.  Bennie played at Michigan State where they consistently got better each year he was on the team.  And he was wearing a wrist band that said “The Journey is the Prize.”  I could not agree more.

Even if you succeed at the highest levels of success, as Bennie has – he won Super Bowl 50! – the fact is you are going to remember the journey, the flights, the trainings, the conversations, the preparation, the PROCESS, and especially the PEOPLE more than anything else as time goes on.  As we go throughout this WINsday, embrace the journey because that is the prize.  The opportunity to unleash our potential each day and to continue to grow in our effectiveness with ourselves and with those around us truly is the prize.  So, if you woke up today with the desire to empty the tank and give it your ALL, congratulations you have already WON.

Simply put:  LOVE THE PROCESS.  LET’S GO.
