I have long stated that if you show me your friends, I will show you your future. People individually carry their own energy and that energy is predicated where their motivations lie. Look for people who want to build others up, make them better, and help others be successful.

Pro Tip: when you or someone else tells a story about something good that happened or about a big win in life, watch peoples reactions. Those who are genuinely excited are the kinds of players you want on your team.

Zig Ziglar famously said, “you can have whatever you want, if you are willing to help enough people get what they want.” The point is this: let’s strive to be an MVP as described above and let’s look for MVP’s to spend time with, and our future will be bright.
