We spend far too much time worrying about the outcome and not focusing on the work at hand. Any good farmer knows the time to count the hay is when it’s all in the barn. We all get 1440 minutes each day. A majority of the focus should be spent knowing what we plan to accomplish TODAY – as opposed to where we will end up at the end of the month or year. There is a time to look up and see how much we have accomplished TODAY but that is when the work is done.
Once you have determined the goal and visualized the future desired state, turn your focus to the process. That will give you an extra edge at the end of the day, when the work is done and it is time to count it all up.
Ask yourself, am I laser focused on the process and the work that is necessary to achieve my goals? Or do I spend a lot of time thinking about the goal or dream when it is time to do the work?
As with most ideas I share, they come down to a simple concept that is worth internalizing: LOVE THE PROCESS
Wishing you massive success TODAY. Let’s go!
Gratefully,
John
